Josette Mandela is a Connecticut Yankee by birth and a Floridian by choice. She has earned a Bachelor's Degree in Bio-chemistry while working part-time and Masters Degrees in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering while working full-time.

She spent 20 years working in various positions in the computer field. When she got laid off the first time she realized she should have paid more attention to what Mom had said when she was a kid about saving for a rainy day.

Fortunately Josette had done a good job of networking and landed a new job the next day. When she was laid off the second time she decided to share her knowledge on saving and budgeting to help other people get through life with less financial worry.
